One of our favorite events at Haven is the Friday Night In, and this year was no different! The theme was Summer Time Fun, and our Mavens were treated to sno cones, savory snacks, a little bit of wine, DIY workshops, and some summer games.
Friday Night In Living Room Activities
We call the main ballroom at Haven the “The Living Room”, because we want it to feel warm and relaxing – just like home. For the Friday Night In, which is held in The Living Room, attendees are encouraged to dress casually and come prepared for drinks, snacks, pleasant conversation, and a little bit of fun.
Our Mavens were also welcome to participate in make-and-take DIY activities planned by Amy Howard, Jess Crow, Jeffrey Court, Chalk Couture, and Artistic Painting Studio. These fun DIY workshops were in addition to the main workshops planned during Haven 2019.
Because of the relaxed atmosphere, the Friday Night In is also doubles as a great networking event. In addition to meeting fellow bloggers and social media influencers, several brand representatives were there to join in on the fun. What better way to take the edge off of pitching brands than a fun, relaxing event!
The next time you’re at Haven, after grabbing some dinner, be sure to make plans to attend the Friday Night In, which is normally scheduled in the evening hours. Based on the smiles and laughs we see every year, we’re sure you’ll love every minute of it.
